Classic Longsword

The backbone of the 1400’s and 1500’s, the Longsword has become one of those swords that has become synonimous with the image of the Knights from that time. This has flowed through to the modern day, where the Longsword once again is the dominant weapon of choice in Historical European Martial Arts.

This one is of the more simple and traditional styles of Longsword with a simple crossguard and no imbellishment. Needing none, this elegant sword has been optimised for HEMA, and stage/screen combat, with a tournament thrust weight and a swollen point.

Broken blades can be turned into smaller swords, or daggers. Blades with thrust weights, or overall blade weights, can be shaved down. broken tangs can sometimes be repaired. And great blades, should have handles and guards to match.
